Mystery customers are employed as part of our quality programmes to measure the actualservices provided by sales teams. They pass themselves off as ordinary customers and play through a scenario of asking for advice and making purchases.

After their visit, mystery customers confidentially fill in a questionnaire giving all the factual information they have memorised. Most of the criteria relate to the behaviour of sales staff, which means memorisation is quite easy. Others, however, require a keener memory as they relate to physical factors (presence of a specific poster, whether or not the opening times are displayed on the door, and so on). In all cases, you need to act responsibly and professionally to be a mystery customer for QCM.

These assignments, which you are free to accept or refuse each time, will take you into a world with which few people are familiar.
